Dinner @ 'd Harbor View

Today was our written and oral exam for level 8! The orals went out well, I guess. But the 2nd part of the written exam was no piece of cake! It was funny, since usually the listening comprehension is the difficult part. We had overtime and Director Galvan checked on us maybe because he wondered what we were doing in the middle of the night.

Then we headed to Harbor View to celebrate the end of this level. Francis told us he would come but he didn’t show up. I think Ted ordered the whole menu! There was lechon, veggies and seafood. Since I consume alcohol every week, I decided to pass drinking beer this time. Luis En kept on saying he will fail the whole class. LOL.

It was really fun hanging out with a group of people of all ages and from different fields of work or study. I felt really cool! I don’t get to do this often. Kosh baked a cake for us and that was our dessert. It was a French recipe or something. But we would have to pay 300 bucks if we will eat it in the resto so we decided to munch on it outside with the knife that we forgot to return and with our bare hands!

Our bill reached up to more than 6K! Could you believe it? Do we all eat like beasts? Whew.

I brought home Kosh’s cake. It was really yummy! I hope I will get to bake something delicious someday. And by the way, she went in the cab with Ernest the Indian guy. Now I wonder what they did talk about…
