It was supposed to be our finals today for three of my subjects. Last night, when I was studying my accounting lessons, I asked my dad what could happen the next day (I'm already having the feeling about the suspension of classes) and true enough, shortly after I asked that question it was announced on TV that there would be no classes on Feb. 27 (Monday).
Should I be happy because our exam was moved? I should be, but I'm not. In fact, I'm deeply worried because there are many things that could happen in a short time. What if there would be a civil war because of this conflict? That's not impossible and many lives will be doomed!
Last Friday, I got a text from a fellow member of the CEGP (College Editors Guild of the Philippines) asking me if we are going to join them in the hope of ousting Gloria from her presidency. I didn't know what to say. I didn't want to offend them but deep inside I knew that what they did was wrong.
Gloria will of course stand firm and refuse to give up her position. I don't know if she will change her mind in the future but a strong leader will never give up her title. These people who want her down are actually people who have nothing but selfish desires. Who will they want to replace Gloria? They have different bets for God's sake! A person who loves this country knows that doing nothing but to pray is the only solution. I'm not sure but in the Constitution, I think that the only lawful person that could replace Gloria is Noli de Castro. In other words replacing her with someone else is against our law! No offense to Noli, but I think he's not even VP material.
Liberators of today, tyrants of tomorrow
These people claim that they will "free" this country from the rule of Gloria. Or will they? Remember what history dictates? Napoleon Bonaparte once freed France and the rest of Europe from the harsh rule of absolute monarchy, but in the end it turned out that he was the dictator after all! You see, if these anti-Glorias will win in the future they will be the oppressors of this country. It will never end. And it all boils down to SELFISH MOTIVES. All of them want power and they are not even thinking of the country's sake! Our economy is highly in danger because of what they did! I'm not pro-Gloria but I'm not anti-Gloria either. I don't like any of our politicians today but I'm crossing my fingers for a good leader in the future. Maybe the real solution is to wipe out all of our politicians after all!

"God, please give us a strong leader who will love nothing but this country. Let him not love himself, money or power. Let his heart belong to the Philippines and nothing more…"

you are not pro or anti. that perspective probably represent the majority of the population.
I'm not pro or anti because given the right age and enough wisdom I will replace Gloria (hehe)... I think the answer to our political problems is in the hands of our youth..the future leaders of this country...
we also said that when we were young. well,.. im still young but we are still in shit. but really, change in incremental.
