A Review on Nursing Bras

When I was still pregnant with my daughter I was already convinced that I will breast feed her exclusively. I knew even before that it has benefits that formula feeding can't beat. So as a first time-mum, I did my research about the subject matter and learned that I will need some nursing bras. 

I first discovered about Blissful Babes Nursing Bandeau and purchased them online from Indigo Manila. They are available in different colours such as: black, nude, tan, white, brown, blue and pink.

What attracted me to these bandeaus is a promise that it fits all sizes.This is the first time that I've seen a nursing bra that fits all body frames! So I ordered two pieces in colours black and white. It it also reasonably priced at Php450 so it was a good deal. 

I don't know if it's just me, but I don't feel that they are supportive enough of my suddenly large breasts. Although what I like about them is that since they are bandeaus, you can wear them even though you're way done with breast feeding. And they don't look like nursing bras at all! 

I believe that the cup that comes with it serves as nursing pads as well. But they are not absorbent enough to hold leakage and they are quite rough on my nipples. Replacing them with your regular nursing pads will do the trick.  It's a good baby shower gift since it fits all sizes.

Will I recommend them to my fellow nursing mums? 

Yes! I don't love it, I just like it. I'm happy that I only bought two and I suggest that others do the same - buy a few pieces only unless you are a bandeau lover. There are a lot of nursing bras out there that are better, but if in you're in a budget and want something that you can use years after then go ahead and buy these. :)

Eunice bra from Fabulous Mom

My other nursing bras are from Fabulous Mom and I got them from Mamaway shop. They are affordable as well (priced at Php 300) but this time, they come in different sizes. Luckily they have my size (36D) so I purchased them right away. There are only two colours for this - black and beige. They are your typical nursing bras but I believe they provide better support. I just use my La Leche League washable nursing pads with them and they are good to go. :) 

I recommend the Eunice bra to other mums out there! The quality is good for such a cheap price. They go well with the LLL pads (Php 400 for 2 pairs). I'm planning to buy a few more pieces before we head back to the UAE but I think I will stick to this model since it is the cheapest. 

So far, these are the nursing bras that I have and like. If you were to ask me which one is better, I would say it would be the Eunice bra. But then again if you have the bucks might as well go for both to add some variety to your collection! :)
