Just thought of sharing these photos to the rest of the world. :) I have to admit... it's tough being a parent than being a cabin crew. But our precious daughter brings us joy and fulfillment not even globetrotting can give. :) I can't say I love being a mum yet, but I don't hate it as well...I'm still getting the hang of it. I can't wait till she grows up so we can be best friends! ;D
I get A LOT of questions how I came up with the name, so here's my explanation:
Our daughter was born in a tough year where my husband and I faced our darkest challenge. According to babynames.com, the name Abielle or Aubriella means GOD IS MY STRENGTH. I want her to be a strong woman of God when she grows up, as I know she will face trials no matter how we try to shield her from it (not that we plan to anyway). I liked the name Aubriella but it was my husband who decided to name her Aubrielle. ;-)
We actually had a hard time coming up with a middle name - I was ready to settle for something short and common but hubby still wanted something unique. I've always adored how Angelina Jolie named her kids and one of her daughters is named Vivienne Marcheline. So I googled the name Marcheline and found out that it's French for "warlike". I didn't like the meaning at first but then I thought that she is a warrior anyway! A strong feminine warrior! Marcheline sounds very feminine to me, plus her dad's name is Martin.
Thank God for the internet and babynames.com; now I think it's easier to name our children. I wanted something unique but not weird. You may agree with me or not but the meaning of our names is important as I believe it eventually becomes our destiny. My name Christine means follower of Christ. I became a Christian when I was 20.
