My Angel, My Guide

How could anyone know what I’m thinking?
How could anyone sense what I’m feeling?
Nobody can understand me like you do
There’s something about you I can never explain too

For you are my angel, my guide
Because of you I feel safe inside
You protect me with goodness and care
That’s why not even the demons would dare

You healed my wounds and fought my battles
You made sure I stay alive even when the world rattles
Now I learned to love my angel, my life
Even if it’s against the rules to love my guide

But my angel is unaffected by love and affection
Because of that I can’t show my devotion
Everyday it just hurts me
Knowing that this can never be

For you are my angel, my guide
Because of you I feel safe inside
You protect me with goodness and care
That’s why not even the demons would dare

Now they decided to take you away because of my feelings
For you can never clip your wings
I will never forget your sweet smile
And the bright light every time you appear into the aisle

Goodbye my angel, my love
I promise to always pray to the Elders above
And ask them why
I feel so lonely; it makes me want to cry
